The Sharp D64U AQUOS series features a slim, lightweight design that provides a smaller footprint than previous models. The body is approximately 25% thinner and 20% lighter than previous models. At the same time, stealth speakers and a thin bezel reduce the footprint even further.

Available in 65, 52, 46, and 42 inch screen sizes, the D64U AQUOS series support full HD 1080p with a contrast ratio of 10000:1, and a pixel response of 4ms. Connectivity include 3 HDMI ver. 1.3 inputs, two component, three composite, and one S-video input.

Pricing begins at $2100, for the 42-inch model, available in August. The 46 and 52-inch LCD are also available this month for $2700 and $3800, respectively. The 65-inch LCD is due for September, with pricing to be announced.
