Mio is getting ready to debut a new software application for their upcoming Mio C620 GPS device - focusing on improvements to their graphical user interface as well as how they present data to the user. When the mapping interface is in full-screen mode, a new detailed representation of the map will be available with more natural perspectives and 3D style cues as well as color-coded parks and indicators for major landmarks.

In split screen view, the user can either choose to display detailed information about upcoming checkpoints or show controls for media tools such as the integrated MP3 player.
