Those of you waiting for the first service pack release for Microsoft Windows Vista will be happy to hear that the company has sent out a private beta of SP1 to various testers in early July. There’s no word on when SP1 would actually be released to the general public but one thing is clear – it’ll be a rather large download. According to WinBeta, the latest build of SP1 for 32 bit systems weighs in at a hefty 3.07GB while the 64 bit version checks in at 4.3 GB. The folks at AeroXperience are also reporting that Windows XP SP3 was separately released to testers also.
