Sony has introduced three new dual format DVD/CD recordable drives featuring three different designs to meet different user needs. The three new drives are the Sony DRU-840A internal DVD burner, the Sony DRX-840U external DVD burner, and the Sony DRX-S70U external DVD burner. The two 840 series DVD burners support a whopping 20X DVD+-R recording speeds which translates to 4.7GB of data being burned in approximately five minutes.
