Denon AH-D5000 Headphones use natural wood
Now here’s a pair of headphones screaming class – it’s the new Denon AH-D5000 Closed Type Stereo Headphones. What makes the AH-D5000 stand out is the housing materials that Denon uses – natural wood folks! According to Denon, the natural wood creates “superior acoustic characteristics that are rich with a broad, natural sound.”
Sounds like a great description to me! Other characteristics include:
- Microfiber used to form the diaphragm
- Optimum acoustics characteristics achieved by adjusting the sound pressure balance in front of and behind the diaphragm
- High quality cables used with cloth mesh jackets
- Light-weight magnesium frame
- 50 mm neodymium magnet drivers
- 25 ohms input impedance
- 106 dB/mW sensitivity
- 5Hz – 45kHz playback frequencies.. 5Hz????
- Weight of 370 grams
According to TechDigest, the new Denon AH-D5000 will cost you £499.99. Ouch.
