Pioneer introduces a new DLNA capable Blu-ray player
Pioneer has been showing off a new standalone Blu-ray player design called the BDP-LX80. The player supports standard HD related features such as 1080p support, 24p playback for cinema-like feel, and Dolby TrueHD and dts-HD. What really makes the BDP-LX80 particularly interesting is it’s support for the DLNA standard which means the player will be able to connect to other DLNA compliant appliances. As an example, you’ll be able to stream digital content from a PC to the BDP-LX80 thanks to DLNA. Now there’s some added-value for ya!
