Good news Futurama fans! Zap2it.com is reporting that the animated cartoon series is coming back to television – albeit to the Comedy Central network. Four new episodes are planned although they will first be released on DVD with the first release being “Bender’s Big Score”. The entire cast is back and all the writers are the veteran writers from the series. The only cut was in the live orchestra. The show now uses synthesizers which honestly most people won’t even notice but will result in lower production costs. Starting on January 1st, 2008, the 72 Futurama reruns will also move from the Cartoon Network to the Comedy Central network.
