BBC introduces online Internet TV service
The BBC launched a new free Internet TV service on Friday that allows users to catch up on the last seven days of BBC television right on the computer. Users have to download the iPlayer application which is still in beta and then they can watch between 60 to 70 percent of all the shows available from the BBC including titles such as “EastEnders”, “Doctor Who”, and “Planet Earth”.
The service is still in beta so it appears the BBC Is still limiting access to the online service. You can access the new online television network at http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer. System requirements include support for Windows XP systems at this time. Programs are downloaded to your PC and will be automatically deleted after viewing or after 30 days.
