Fujifilm adds seven new digital cameras
Fujifilm has announced the addition of seven new digital cameras to its already impressive lineup, including new flagship models for the F, A, and Z series.
The new cameras include the:
- FinePix F50fd which offers 12 megapixels and CCD-shift image stabilization in a compact package.
- FinePix S8000fd 8 megapixel 18x super-zoom with CCD-shift image stabalization as well.
- FinePix S5800 compact super-zoom coupling a 10x zoom and 8 megapixels (available in Europe and Asia)
- FinePix Z100fd (pictured) and Z10fd ultracompacts with 8 and 7.2 megapixels, respectively.
- FinePix F480 and A920 entry level digital cameras offering 8.2 and 9.2 megapixels in an inexpensive package.
It seems like a well rounded lineup, but it faces some serious competition from Panasonic and Olympus, especially in the super-zoom market.
