Could ASUS be launching a new Windows Mobile based Smartphone? Ubergizmo is reporting that the rumored ASUS A-Series Smartphone will run Windows Mobile 6 Professional and come with the following specs:

• 128MB RAM
• 256 MB ROM
• Marvel 520MHz PXA27x processor
• Support for GSM/GPRS/EDGE and HSDPA
• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
• Comes with SiRFStar III GPS chipset
• 3.2 megapixel digital camera with autofocus
• Integrated FM radio

It certainly sounds like a souped up Windows Mobile device. Let’s hope it’s true!
