The Pico Projector from Microvision will change the way you look at your phone or PDA. For all the media capability of your handheld, it’s still physically impossible to increase the size of the image. Sure, you can increase the resolution of the screen, but you’re still limited to viewing something the size of your hand.

The PicoP will change all that. An ultra-miniature laser-based display engine, the PicoP will allow you to project content onto a wall, rather than display it on a screen. Movie and image dimensions will no longer constrained by the physical size and shape of the device.

Now with the support Motorola, Microvision will develop a prototype mobile device with the PicoP WVGA 854 x 480 color engine.
