Fujitsu Introduces World’s Slimmest Waterproof Phone
Waterproof phones are useful if you’re a klutz (like me) and have a high probability of dropping your phone into the pool, sink - or toilet, whatever. Fujitsu’s 704i, the successor of the 703i – which was received with minor criticism but many complaints back in January 2007, is smaller and also sports a 1.3MP camera. It can be hooked up to a computer to transfer WMA files directly from Windows Media Player and download music files directly from Napster To Go. It can sustain up to about half an hour under water – but only up to a few feet down.
The 704i is available in four colors – black, white, magenta, and gold – and is only 1.79 centimeters thick. It also has a Japanese-English dictionary & this phone is MicroSD capable. Lastly – there is a funny little program that’s been called the “Relaxing Mode Plus” – which is some sort of a bath massage program… Not sure how that’s supposed to work or why it’s even there in the first place, but it sounds potentially scandalous.
