Sprint and Sanyo announce the Katana DLX and Katana II mobile phones
Sprint and Sanyo announced two new mobile phones for the Sprint Power Vision network – the Sprint Power Vision Phone Katana DLX and the Sprint Power Vision Phone Katana II – an upgrade to the popular Katana mobile phone which came out last year.
Both mobile phones have a smooth shiny finish with availability in multiple colors. The Katana DLX is available in Platinum Ice, Champagne, and Pink Satin. The Katana II is available in Cosmic Black, Pink Fascination, and Midnight Street (I just love these ridiculous sounding names).
Common features to both mobile phones include:

- Bluetooth wireless support
- Wireless backup for easy restoration of contact information
- Large QVGA display
- GPS enabled supporting Sprint Navigation powered by TeleNav wth Turn by turn driving directions and 10 million business listings

- microSD card slot with support for up to 4GB microSDHC cards

- More than a dozen streaming radio applications including Sprint radio and SIRIUS
