Xbox 360 Holiday Lineup and Xbox Live Marketplace Updates

Microsoft used the backdrop of the E3 Media and Business Summit (E3) to announce the holiday lineup of video games for the Xbox 360 platform as well as many other new features coming to Xbox Live. Games coming out on the 360 platform for the holiday season include the following:

Dance Dance Revolution UNIVERSE 2
Grand Theft Auto IV

Naruto: Rise of a Ninja
Project Gotham Racing 4
Rock Band
Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction

That’s a pretty sweet lineup of video games for the coming holiday season – of course headlined by the introduction of Halo 3. Meanwhile, Microsoft also announced that they’ve reached an agreement with Disney-ABC Domestic Television to make high definition and standard definition feature films from Walt Disney Pictures, Touchstone Pictures, Miramax Films, and Hollywood Pictures available for rent on demand to members of the Xbox Live Network.

Microsoft also announced that the HD video store on the Xbox Live Marketplace will soon be available to customers around the world. Users in Europe and Canada will be able to access the HD video store by the end of this year.

The Xbox Live Arcade network is also thriving with new titles set to arrive later this summer. The title list includes the following:
