Adding more fuel to the new iPod video rumors, DigiTimes is reporting that Taiwan-based Wintek will be the supplier for the touch screen panels that will be used in the new devices. The report cites that Apple is planning to launch a next generation iPod video player in August featuring a touch screen panel very similar to the one used in the Apple iPhone. Sources to DigiTimes report that Wintek will begin shipping capacitive touch screen panels to Apple during the second half of 2007.
