The Xbox 360 Elite console will be making its Japanese debut on October 11th – months after the initial debut occurred here in North America. The Xbox 360 Elite is the current high end version of the 360 console offering features such as HDMI video output and a new 120GB hard drive. The Elite also distinguishes itself from the rest of the 360 fleet with it’s black finish. The Japanese will also receive a price break with the Xbox 360 Elite. It’ll go on sale for 47,800 yen (or $390 U.S. dollars). The U.S version of the Elite goes for $479 but good luck trying to get your hands on one. I’ve been looking for the Elite for several months now (only because I want the HDMI connector) and I’ve yet to find a place that actually has it in stock.
