Hot-swappable hard drive technology meets external storage chassis in the form of the new Icy Dock MB664. The chassis utilizes a hot-swappable screwless design which allows you to easily remove, and install new hard drives into the unit. The hard drive is protected with a layer of solid aluminum plating which also employs a partial glossy finish. There are three different versions of the Icy Dock MB664 – the MB664US-1S, the MB664UEA-1S, and the MB664UEB-1S.

The MB664US-1S utilizes an eSATA + USB 2.0 interface. The MB664UEA-1S has a FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 interface and finally the MB664UEB-1S comes with a FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 interface.
