Nokia introduces first speakerphone – the HF-300
Nokia has introduced their first speakerphone device called the Nokia Speakerphone HF-300. The device couples a powerful speaker and microphone and connects wirelessly to Bluetooth enabled mobile phones. Audio is enhanced using digital signal processing technology which aids in canceling out noise and echoes.
Features of the Nokia Speakerphone HF-300 include the following:
- Operates on battery power
- Sunvisor clip for the car
- Illuminated keys for easy use
- Lightweight at 80 grams
- 20 hours of talk time
- Auto power off five minutes after connection to phone has been severed
- LED battery indicator
- Supports Bluetooth 1.1 and higher
- Supports Handfree Profile 1.0 and higher
The Nokia Speakerphone HF-300 is due out in the third quarter of 2007 for a suggested price of EUR 90.
Note – after using the iPhone’s integrated speakerphone for the last few days in my car, I might very well decide to get the HF-300 when it comes out!
