Although labeled as a “Portable Audio System”, the iMV712 is probably best described as a portable home theater system considering the integrated  8.5 inch widescreen LCD display and the side firing subwoofer. Simply attach the iPod onto the integrated dock and begin enjoy your audio and video collections on this portable box. Features include:

Here’s the verdict on the unit:

I am really impressed with the iMV712. When I first saw it at CES in January I wanted to get my hands on one. I have seen other portable iPod devices with screens, but they more made more like the portable DVD players with flip up screens. That made them less attractive for your home. The iMV712 takes a different approach and puts the screen right on the front of the system.
