Sprint and LG announce LG MUZIQ
Sprint and LG Electronics announced the upcoming availability of the new MUZIQ music phone – an upgrade to last year’s LG FUSIC mobile phone. The new LG MUZIQ provides Sprint subscribers over-the-air song downloads, an integrated FM transmitter, and stereo Bluetooth functionality. The phone allows access to the following Sprint exclusive content:
- Sprint Music Store where the user can browse, purchase, and download music wirelessly
- Pandora Mobile – a downloadable application which provides personalized streaming radio. You simply enter a favorite artist or song and the program automatically retrieves a radio station with songs that match your interest.
- Sprint TV
- Sprint Navigation providing GPS functionality including voice and on screen turn by turn driving directions
Specs to the LG MUZIQ mobile phone include:
- Comes with Sprint Music Manager which allows you to load your own MP3’s to the phone via a USB connection
- Supports microSD cards (up to 4GB cards)
- 1.3 megapixel digital camera with flash
- PictBridge support
- Wireless backup
- Measures 3.8 x 1.94 x 0.61 inches and weighs only 3.14 oz
- MSRP of $99 with a two year agreement
- Integrated FM transmitter so you can listen to your tunes on a radio up to 10 feet away
