Now I know I promised that I would not mention the iPhone again today… but I just couldn’t help myself after coming across this hilarious (and useful) article over at Wired.com. The article is entitled “Ready for an iPhone? Tips to end your existing cell contract”. This could very well be the perfect article for me – especially since I’m contemplating getting the iPhone and replacing my Verizon Wireless account with AT&T (OMG.. what am I thinking?). So what are some of the tips?

  • Pawn it off
  • Get out while you still can (assuming you just signed the contract that is)
  • Move to the boonies
  • Military service

The best is the last one – “Fake your own death”. Ouch.
