Are you looking for a notebook stand for your MacBook, MacBook Pro system? Might I recommend you look at the BALMUDA design Floater? This aluminum stand is designed to hold your Apple notebook in a vertical position – keeping the machine out of the way while it’s connected to your display, keyboard and mouse. The stand is called “Floater” simply because the designers felt the stand provided a floating sensation to your MacBook or MacBook Pro. OK.. I’m not too sure about that one but I’ll give them this much – it’s a nice looking stand. The side panels are narrow enough to provide a snug fit for the notebook, yet wide enough just in case your notebook is a bit thicker than the rest.  The stand even comes with a simple cable management system designed to keep those darn cables out of the way.

So that’s nice and all but I’ll tell you what I really want. I want the system that’s shown in those pictures from BALMUDA design. I’m sorry but neither the MacBook nor the MacBook Pro have that shade of gray. That’s one bad ass looking setup if you ask me.

Anyhow, the Floater isn’t exactly cheap (it will cost you $305 dollars for the Floater T2 model) but hey – you’ll have a sweet setup in your home office.
