Tom B. My bad. I'm not sure that you can right now. I believe the H.264 content on YouTube is only available to Apple TV and the iPhone. Not sure if and when YouTube would roll it out for the web.

bob: the reason search is lacking is because content is still lacking on YouTube. They're in the process of converting their entire video collection into H.264 format. Give them some time - more videos will come online soon enough!

Tom B: I assume when you say access to your H.264 content - you mean access to it from your television set? There are several media players on the market that can handle H.264 content - the most notable one right now other than Apple TV is the Xbox 360 console. You can stream content from a Windows PC using Windows Media Player or via the Zune software straight to the Xbox 360 (assuming it has the latest Spring Update). Hope this helps.

i found that the search function seems to be lacking. I was looking for Kelly Clarkson videos (hey, easy example) but I found mostly R Kelly videos instead. The exact same search on the youtube website brought up an entirely different list of videos.

I'm not sure what the difference was.

I don't own an AppleTV yet, but I like H.264. This may be a dumb question, but is there a simple way to access all the H.264 from my computer? Just going over to the YouTube website doesn't reveal an obvious method.
