The HD2000 is the first BrightSign media player to support high definition video playback as well as offer playlist support. Connect the BrightSign HD2000 to an external display (such as an LCD monitor, or a HDTV), and you’ll instantly be able to convey messages across to people using HD video.

The BrightSign HD2000 is designed to be simple to use. Simply insert a removable flash card to display looping playback of video, image, and audio content using playlists. There’s a complete scripting solution called BrightScript which allows you to program in interactivity to the display. A quote from the press release:
