The new products just keep on coming from Sony Ericsson. This time it’s the new K530 3G phone and the new GPS Enabler HGE-100. The K530 is a slim phone which gives you fast access to the Internet, access to a variety of news, weather, and entertainment features, and a 2 megapixel digital camera. It’s also the first Sony Ericsson phone to be compatible with the new GPS Enabler product. The enabler plugs into the phone to turn it into a personal satellite navigation system.

Meanwhile, the new Sony Ericsson HGE-100 GPS Enabler features:

  • Navigation with voice and text commands
  • Save destinations or search your destination by address, person, company, and even local points of interest
  • ‘Tracker’ GPS sports application records training sessions and analyzes performance
  • Compatible with many Sony Ericsson phones
  • Plugs in and doubles as a stereo portable handsfree – use it to control calls and music or switch to GPS mode when you want to find your way
  • Graphical, icon display when used with phone
  • 3.5 mm connector halfway up the cord so you can switch headphones for different environments
  • Available in selected markets starting in Q3 of 2007
