GIGABYTE introduces GSmart i300 smartphone
Gigabyte Communications has introduced a new Windows Mobile based smartphone called the GSmart i300 which integrates GPS functionality into a PDA phone. The phone will be exclusively retailing via Euronetwork in Russia. Features of the i300 include the following:
- SiRF Star III GPS chipset supporting GPS Tracking and Location Message
- Windows Mobile 5.0 OS
- GPS Tracking - Allows you record your tracks by adding descriptions to maps and photo graphs
- Location Message - Allows you to send immediate location information via SMS. Send information at intervals to let people know where you are
- Bluetooth 2.0 support
- Pocket Remote - Control the PDA from your PC
- USB 2.0
- GSM 900/1800/1900 , GPRS class 10
- 2.4 inch, 262k color TFT LCD touch panel, 320 x 240 pixel resolution
- Measures 102.5 x 51.5 x 19 mm and weighs 116 grams
- 3 hour talk time
