Beatmix Bumblebee Speaker for iPod and MP3 players at Sharper Image
Again - I’m not at all ashamed of the fact that I’m eagerly awaiting the release of Transformers the Movie this summer. Come on folks - this is going to be THE best movie of the year - if not EVER! Ok. that might be stretching things a bit here but nevertheless, I am PSYCHED! Given my level of enthusiasm, you can be sure that I was ecstatic when my wife showed me this link over at the Sharper Image for the Beatmix Bumblebee Speaker for the iPod and MP3 player. Yes.. this is indeed a speaker system for portable digital audio players but it’s also in the shape of Bumblebee. (OK..I do wish it came in a different model .. say Optimus Prime or even Prowl? Is Prowl even in the movie??).
Yes Bumbleebee is a speaker system, but the figure also dances, lights up it’s eyes, and flaps its doors in response to the music. It’s an animated speaker system for the iPod (or heck for the Zune or any other player).
Bumblebee will even sample tunes back to you with Transformers’ sound effects - how cool is that folks? The speakers require four AAA batteries to run.You can get it from the Sharper Image for $59.95.
