Honestly – I’m trying to stay away from the iPhone hype right now. Sure the device looks cool and it very well could change the face of the music and mobile phone industry .. but there’s already enough coverage out there right now. However, I did want to drop one note about an interesting number I just saw over at DailyTech. They actually refer to this BusinessWeek article from a few days ago which mentions that Apple plans on having 3 million iPhones ready for sale on June 29th. That’s right. 3 MILLION iPhones. OK.. so if you’re worried about whether you’re going to be able to pick up one on launch day – don’t. It looks like there should be plenty on hand. Of course.. who knows – maybe 10 million folks will go out on launch day and pick up an iPhone.. (and then promptly sell it on eBay no less). Anyhow, I thought you folks might be interested in that little tidbit. Note – Apple has not commented on that number so it’s a little unofficial.
