Samsung i620 Slider Smartphone
Honestly, I feel like at least once a week, I’m applauding Samsung for some sort of new gadget design, product announcement, or technology enhancement. Great for Samsung, but what about the rest of the folks out there? Sheesh. OK.. enough griping. Here’s a new slider smartphone design from Samsung called the i620. In it’s basic form, the i620 looks like a simplified mobile phone with a home button, navigation wheel, talk, and end buttons. Kick the slider into high gear, and you’ll find a fully functional QWERTY keypad. The numbers appear to be integrated with the keypad – similar to how they look on the BlackJack. Here’s what UnwiredView has on the specs of the i620.
- GSM 900/1800/1900, UMTS, and HSDPA support
- QVGA 320 x 240 display
- 2 megapixel digital camera
- VGA front camera
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth support
- microSD card slot
- Measures 113 x 59 x 11.8 and weighs 95 grams
Since this phone has yet to be officially announced by Samsung, we’re not entirely sure of the OS – but we assume it’s a Windows Moble based phone.
