In case you missed this yesterday, Palm will announce a new category of mobile device at the D: All Things Digital Conference located in Carlsbad, CA today. Following the announcement, Jeff Hawkins, the founder of Palm Inc., will host a live video webcast at 11:30am PST where he will discuss Palm’s vision for this new category and demonstrate the new product’s capabilities. There will also be a Q&A session during the webcast.  The webcast will be for media, industry, and financial analysts only and will begin at 11:30am but we should all know more about the device before hand as a result of the D conference.
