Just because BenQ is exiting the digital camera business, doesn’t mean they’re ready to call it quits in other departmens. Case in point – their new BenQ FP241VW LCD monitor. The FP241VW is surrounded in a “premium” metallic frame with a display that happens to also be tilt adjustable. This 24 inch display features:

  • 1920 x 1200 resolution support
  • 0.27 mm dot pitch
  • 16 ms response time
  • D-sub.DVI-D/S-video/Composite/Component/HDMI connector
  • 500cd/m2 brightness
  • 1000:1 contrast ratio
  • Six specialized display modes – Standard, Dynamic, Movies, Photos, Action Game, and Racing Game
  • Measures 700 x 471.4 x 135.6 and weighs 10kg

The monitor is supposed priced in at around $900. What stands out for us is the unique chassis design – you’ll either love it or hate it. I think we love it.
