A few days ago, I mentioned about a product line from Bamboo Technology called the Vault 360 which allows you to convert audio and video files from one format to another. It looked pretty promising and I was about to plop some money down for it – that is until I read this review of the Vault 360 Platinum edition over at LaptopMag. The verdict is as follows:

In addition to its appetite resources, Vault 360 suffers from bugs and inconveniences. … For a program that’s supposed to streamline rather than complicate an already twisted process of format conversion, Vault 360 Platinum could use a little recoding itself.

Ouch. I think I’ll hold off now.
