IPEVO has introduced a new Skype phone called the Solo. The Solo doesn’t require a PC connection to connect to the Skype network. All you need is a broadband network and you’ll be able to communicate to other Skype users out there. IPEVO (which is a hardware subsidiary to PChome Online) will make the phone available in Taiwan starting on June 11 and in the US starting in July. The phone utilizes an Intel PXA 270 processor and comes with chipsets from Broadcom.  The Solo will be sold in Taiwan for NT$4,990 which is approximately $150 dollars in the US.
