T-Mobile introduces new Windows Mobile 6 Smartphone – the T-Mobile Wing
T-Mobile has announced the availability of the new T-Mobile Wing mobile phone developed by High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC). Made exclusively for T-Mobile, the Wing has a blue soft-touch exterior, a color touch screen, and a full slide out QWERTY style keyboard.
Features of the new T-Mobile Wing include the following:
- Smartphone with large external touch screen and stylus
- Slide out screen with full QWERTY keypad
- Soft touch exterior with deep blue color
- WiFi and EDGE support
- Full HTML web browsing
- Support for Microsoft Office Mobile
- Windows Live for Windows Mobile including Live Messenger, Live Hotmail, Live Search, and Live Spaces
- Direct Push e-mail available with Exchange Server 2003 SP2 or later. Windows Live Hotmail also supports push mail
- T-Mobile myFaves support
- voice dialing, voice commands, and voice recorder
- Bluetooth support
- 2.0 megapixel digital camera with 8x digital zoom
- Video capture and playback music and video player
- microSD card slot
- 2.8 inch diagonal, 65K color screen with 240 x 320 resolution
- Measures 2.3 x 4.3 x 0.7 inches and weighs 6 oz
- Supports quad band GSM (850, 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz)
- Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0
- 30 percent smaller than the T-Mobile MDA device
The T-Mobile Wing will be available starting today via T-Mobile stores and on the net at T-Mobile.com.
