I’ve been reading a lot about LED lights recently – how they conserve electricity while at the same time run for long periods of time. One new product utilizing LED lights just recently caught my attention – it’s from Koncept and it’s called the i-Tower LED Floor Lamp. This thin lanky product can adjust from 35 to 57 inches in height and rotates 360 degrees around. You can basically swing it all around to deliver light to wherever you need it. 

The standard model comes with 66 bright white LED lights with a color temperature of 6000 to 8000K. The expected lifetime of the LED lights in use is rated at around 30,000 hours which translates to 10 years if you use the lights 8 hours a day. Can you imagine not having to change your light bulbs for that long??

Other models include the i-Tower High Power model which utilizes the next generation in LED technology known as high power LEDs. Six high power LEDs will produce twice as much light as the standard i-Tower floop lamp yet consume less electricity than the standard model. The high power model features an integrated dimmer which allows for four levels of brightness control. The daylight model delivers clean white light at approximately 5100K temperature while the warm white light model delivers light at approximately 3500K. High power LEDs have a rated life of 40,000 hours which translates to 13 years at 8 hours per day.

The standard i-Tower LED floor lamp with 66 LEDs will be released on June 20th and is priced at $159.95. It comes in Silver and Black.
