Lexar introduces the JumpDrive Secure II Plus with built in display meter
Lexar introduced a new USB flash drive yesterday called the JumpDrive Secure II Plus which features a new unique integrated capacity meter which quickly shows the user how much room is left on the drive. The display meter is ultra thin and shatter proof – so you won’t have to worry about cracking the display should you sit on the drive. Yes – the meter works without needing the drive to be connected to the PC – that’s the whole point isn’t it?
Features of the JumpDrive Secure II Plus include:
- 256 bit AES encryption
- Same advanced security features as the original JumpDrive Secure II
- Compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista
- Users can create multiple password protected areas
- Simply drag files into the secure area for automatic encryption
- Drag files out of the area and they are decrypted (assuming you’re a valid user)
- Includes a File Shredder feature
- Available in 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB capacities
An 8 GB version will be available soon.
