Hey folks – hope all of you had a wonderful weekend. I took a break from the wonderful world of blogging this weekend. I just needed a break in general but hey, it’s Monday night (Tuesday morning depending on where you’re at) and I’m back to writing my witty content.. Ok.. not so witty.. but content nevertheless!

So first up on today’s agenda was something I meant to post at the end of last week. It’s the Xbox 360 Laptop mk2 and it’s one sick mother of a project from the folks at Engadget. First off - they have WAY too much time on their hands to do this! (or perhaps they just have way too much money on their hands!). So what exactly is this beast? Well it’s exactly as it seems – it’s a fully functional Xbox 360 inside a notebook err… laptop chassis. They basically ripped the guts of an Xbox 360 console and placed it inside a laptop form factor. You instantly have yourself a portable gaming console complete with LCD screen. How sweet is that!!

Ah.. one of these days, I’m going to have to embark on a similar project. The challenge of course is fitting all those components into a small form factor while making sure the thermals are within reason. Excellent job!
