NYTimes reviews the upcoming T-Mobile Sidekick ID
The New York Times has published a short review of the upcoming Sidekick ID mobile phone which is due to launch on April 24th. As most of you know, the Sidekick ID is basically a stripped down version of the Sidekick 3 tailored to the youth out there thanks to it’s changeable faceplates.
Features of the Sidekick ID include:
- Integrated QWERTY keyboard
- Support for Yahoo, MSN, and AOL IM
- Support for web browsing, email, text messaging
- Changeable faceplates
- Speakerphone
- 2.5 inch color screen
- Measures 5.1 x 2.5 x 0.9 inches
- Weighs 6.2 oz
- 5 hour talk time
- 6 day standby time
- Dual band GSM support (850 MHz and 1900 MHz)
- Conference calling support
Here’s a blurb from the review:
Still, the Sidekick ID straddles the fine line between cool phone and smart phone with aplomb.
