Apple announced today that they have sold their 100 millionth Apple iPod. Yes.. that’s a lot of Apple iPods out there.. and that’s also a great deal of money for Apple. In the five plus years of the iPods’ existence, we’ve seen an entire industry develop as a result of the iPod. Everything from iPod accessories, peripherals to the digital media marketplace in the form of Apple iTunes. Lots of iPods results in lots of content being sold on iTunes which ultimately means lots of cash for Apple. Good job Apple.
