Advanced Technology Office (also known as ATO) has announced new pricing and retail packaging for their second generation iSee 360i Video Recorder for the Apple iPod. The iSee 360i is the world’s only Apple iPod accessory that allows users to record video content directly onto an iPod for portable viewing. ATO is also offering three different iPod bundles – a 2 GB nano, a 4 GB nano, and a 30 GB iPod video package.

The iSee 360i comes with a large 3.6 inch color screen which is 91 percent larger than the iPod video’s screen. There’s also an extra rechargeable and replaceable battery pack which extends the iPods’ battery life by up to four hours. Included with the second generation iSee are adapters for iPod 1G/2G nano and iPod 30GB video models.

ATO Launches Second-Generation iSee 360i Video Recorder for iPod

iPod 1G/2G Nano and Video Adapters Now Included in $199 Retail Package

SANTA CLARA, Calif. –(Business Wire)– Apr. 2, 2007 Advanced Technology Office, LLC (ATO) today announced new pricing and retail packaging for the iSee 360i Video Recorder, the world’s only Apple(R) iPod(R) accessory that allows users to record video content on an iPod for portable viewing. ATO also announced that it will offer bundled iSee-iPod packages in three different configurations — 2GB nano, 4GB nano, and 30GB video. iPod users will now find it easier and more convenient than ever to purchase, use, and enjoy the benefits of the iSee 360i video recorder.

iSee 360i creates a new category in consumer electronics — a Personal Media Player (PMP) that uses an iPod to record and store video, music, and photos from any analog source. Most iPod models simply slip into the back of an iSee device — some models require an included adapter. With a 3.6-inch color screen, iSee allows the user to enjoy a 91 percent larger viewing area than the iPod video. Powered by a rechargeable and replaceable battery, iSee also extends the battery-life of the iPod by up to four hours.

The second-generation iSee package now includes adapters for iPod 1G/2G nano and iPod 30GB video models. The adapters formerly sold as optional accessories for $19.95. In addition, ATO has lowered suggested retail pricing by $50, making iSee a more compelling value for owners of fourth-generation and newer iPod models.

iSee 360i Video Recorder for iPod

iSee 360i extends the functionality of almost any Click Wheel iPod, turning the world’s most popular MP3 player into a small multimedia center with video player and recorder, MP3 player, and photo display.

iSee 360i measures 6 x 3.2 x 1.1 inches and weighs just 6 ounces; when connected to an iPod, iSee provides the look and feel of a single, integrated unit. iSee operates with most standard, mini, nano, and video iPod models. One Touch Recording (OTR) — iSee now offers two ways to record video — manually or set a timer to have the recording automatically stop after a specified period of time.
