Here’s a unqiue design for a toaster of all things. It’s a toaster designed by Atil Kizilbayir from Turkey and he recently won a product design competition with it (called the Immib Product Design competition). What’s unique about this design is – you don’t pop in bread from above but rather, you slide in bread from the side. When the toasting process is done, the bread slides back out. No bread to jam and easy to clean up too! Here’s hoping we’ll see this as a real product someday.
