If you’re eagerly awaiting the next software update to the Microsoft Zune, then you’ll need to wait just a bit longer. According to News.com, the next update has been delayed a bit longer than expected although according to marketing director Jason Reindrop, the update is “very close to being ready.”

One of the things expected to be addressed with the next update is the song skipping problem with some songs downloaded via Zune Marketplace.
