Nokia N800 purchased for $279 at closing CompUSA’s
As most of you know, CompUSA is closing well over half of their stores all across the country in an effort to streamline their business. Here in Southern California, they’re actually closing out all of their store locations which means you’ll have to drive 100+ miles just to find a CompUSA in SoCal.
A few weeks back, I dropped by the CompUSA over in Culver City – just to see what kind of deals I could get. Most items were marked between 10 to 15 percent off with an occasional 30 percent off here and there.
However, the best deal that I got was the Nokia N800 Internet Appliance for a cool $279! Yup.. the N800 was available for 30 % off.. so yes.. I jumped on it and got one for myself. What am I going to do with it? Review it of course and well.. keep it around at home for those days I want to surf without opening up my notebook or walking to my desktop. All in all.. a good deal. So if a CompUSA is closing near you – drop by and see if you can find an N800. They’re probably gone by now but you never know.
