Here’s a small rumor for all you Gateway fans out there (are there really any?). There are various news reports floating around the web that Acer is considering purchasing the famous cow branded computer company. Would we be sad to see Gateway disappear into oblivion? Not really.. it really is a non factor in the PC world these days – especially since Dell and HP are duking it out these days. This does tell you something about Acer though and how they’ve rebranded themselves quite nicely over the last several years.
