Could this be the final days of Palm Inc? According to Unstrung.com, Palm is days away from being sold to one of four possible suitors. The four consist of two private equity firms and two commercial vendors. The two private equity firms are thought to be Texas Pacific Group and Silver Lake Partners while the two commercial entities are thought to be Nokia and Motorola.

So how soon could a deal be done? We’re talking days away folks. Unstrung reports that a source at Palm is hoping the deal will be closed by the time Palm reports their third quarter results on the 22nd.
