Pentax introduces waterproof Optio W30
Pentax is introducing a new waterproof digital camera called the Optio W30. This compact digital camera can take digital stills at depths of up to 10 feet for up to 2 hours.
Specs include:
- 7.1 megapixel CCD
- 3x optical zoom lens
- JIS Class 8 Waterproof and JIS Class 5 dustproof
- Full aluminum alloy outer body construction adds durability
- Support for up to ISO 3200
- 2.5 inch LCD with anti-reflective coating
- SP coating prevents water drops from sticking to the lens
- Auto locking door mechanism
- LCD Bright Mode allows the screen to be seen in direct sunlight
- Interval movie mode for timelapse movies
- SD and SDHC cards
- 1.3 second startup time
- Face recognition function
- Macro photography mode
- Rechargeable Li-ion battery
