It’s been quiet here at Krunker.com for the last few days and I’ll tell you why. Monday was just utterly hectic for me because I was planning to leave town on Tuesday and come back to LA on Friday, sooo I had to make sure I got a lot of work done on Monday. Where was I heading off to? The east coast – specifically upstate NY where Cornell University is. I was planning on attending several recruiting events to get students to work for my company.

Ok.. notice I was saying “planning” because a certain storm got in the way of all of that!! So here was my horror story of a Tuesday.

I get on a US Airways plane at LAX heading to Philly at 6 in the morning. At Philly, the plan was to then get on another plane and head to Ithaca, NY. Well, I manage to get to Philly at 2pm but guess what? All flights going to Ithaca have been cancelled. I could spend the night in Philly or head to La Guardia airport in NYC as proposed by US Airways. Why? I have no idea because it’s not like I can go from La Guardia to Ithaca either.

So with the weather expected to get worse on Wednesday, I decided to forget about this trip and head back to LA. I get booked on the 6pm flight out of Philly back to LA.

6pm comes around – no plane in sight

7 pm comes around.. still no boarding but at least  the plane is here

7:30 pm comes around – we all start boarding

8:15 pm – we’re sitting around while the bags are loaded

8:30 pm – we get deiced

9 pm – we get deiced AGAIN

Finally at around 9:10pm, we take off and head back to LA. During the trip back home, I’m stuck next to a couple who just won’t SHUT UP!!!! Add to that a flight that was nerve-wracking for me since there was so much air turbulance.. and you got yourself a really unhappy camper in me.

Sooo.. I finally get home to LA at around 12am.. get home to my HOME at around 1am.. and my experience is over.

Yup.. nothing like flying from one coast to another and BACK in a single day. I’m sure many of you have done that too.. and man, it’s not fun – especially when there’s a lot of snow involved.
