LaptopMag reviews the Samsung Sync a707 mobile phone
LaptopMag has published a review of the Samsung Sync a707 mobile phone here on their website. The Sync (otherwise known as the Cingular SYNC) is a very capable multimedia phone designed to support Cingular’s music and video services. Top this off with 3G networking support and you’ve got yourself a pretty awesome phone for a low price ($49.99 after a 2 year contract and a $50.00 mail in rebate). Specs on the SYNC include:
- 2 megapixel digital camera with video record
- Cingular Video capabilities
- Music player with multiple format support
- Bluetooth Wireless with A2DP support
- Download music tone ringtones, graphics, and games
- Multimedia messaging
- Quad band world phone with dual band UMTS/HSDPA
- AIM, Yahoo!, and MSN IM
- microSD card support
- mobile email support
- Wireless internet access
- Hands-free speakerphone
Here’s LaptopMag’s verdict:
Cingular’s 3G network is still a work in progress, but the Sync’s compatibility with multiple PC music services along with its XM radio support and user-friendly design, give it the edge over other bargain-priced multimedia phones.
