Seriously folks – some criminals are just darn plain stupid. Case in point – a burgler in New Zealand who was recently caught while trying to register an Xbox 360 console he had stolen from someone else. How did this exactly happen? Well the brain child of a burglar stole the console back in late January. While stealing the console, he forgot one little item – the power cord. So he calls up Microsoft, registers the Xbox 360, and tries to get a replacement power cord. In the meantime, the victim wisely called up Microsoft to inform them of the theft and guess what? They noticed the Xbox was registered to someone else! Well as you can imagine, the cops eventually busted the burglar and everything is all fine and dandy again. Just goes to show that you’re never really anonymous with an Xbox 360 that you’ve registered with Microsoft! (and it shows that some people are just plain stupid)
