PC Magazine reviews Novatel Ovation U720
PC Magazine has published a review of the Novatel Ovation U720 EV-DO USB dongle here on their website. The U720 allows Sprint PCS subscribers to access the EV-DO network via a USB dongle connected to their notebooks. Most notebook users typically access EV-DO networks using a PC card but the Novatel Ovation U720 changes all of that.
One thing to keep in mind with the U720. Although it’s a USB dongle, it’s certainly not small in size. According to PC Magazine, the U720 is almost as large as three fingers put together! Yeah.. that’s a bit fat! But who cares if you’re getting awesome speeds and that’s apparently what you get with the U720. Here’s the verdict from PC Magazine:
The speed and flexibility of the Novatel U720 make it a terrific EV-DO solution for folks without a PC Card slot.
Yup.. the U720 earned PC Mag’s “Editor’s Choice” award.
